Horizontal flow wrapper with bottom film feed for soft, loose or irregular products such as vegetables, bread, trays and hardware kits.
Overview
On a bottom-film pillow packer the film runs underneath the product, so items that are soft, loose or awkward to push, like vegetables, bread, trays and multi-part kits, ride on the film instead of being pushed into a former. The machine forms the film into a tube, makes the long fin seal underneath, then cross-seals and cuts each pack, with photo-eye registration for printed film. Pack length is set on the controller, and the infeed can be loaded by hand or linked to an upstream line.
