Ultrasonic tube sealer that welds and trims plastic and laminated tubes for toothpaste, cosmetics and ointments, with no heating elements.
Overview
The filled tube is placed in the holder, and ultrasonic vibration generates heat inside the tube material itself, welding the end in seconds with no heating elements, no warm-up time and no scorching. A band cutter then trims the tail clean, leaving a neat, strong seal. It seals plastic and laminated tubes up to 80 mm in diameter at 20 to 25 tubes a minute, for toothpaste, creams, ointments, gels, adhesives and food pastes, and is built on an aluminium alloy frame with a stainless steel enclosure.
