Continuous Band Sealer
Horizontal continuous band sealer that heat-seals pouches as they travel along the conveyor, embossing batch and date into the seal.
Overview
The open mouth of the pouch is fed between two Teflon bands that carry it through heating and cooling blocks and pressure rollers, so the seal is made continuously as the pouch moves along the conveyor, far faster than sealing bags one at a time. An embossing wheel prints the batch number, date or price into the seal. Temperature and speed adjust for laminates, polyethylene, aluminium foil and paper pouches, and the 10–12 mm seal is clean and strong. It is used for snacks, tea, spices, namkeen, sweets, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
