Stainless steel steam shrink tunnel that shrinks sleeve labels on round, square, oval and irregular bottles to a smooth, wrinkle-free finish.
Overview
Steam transfers heat far more evenly than hot air, which is why it gives the best finish on full-body shrink sleeves, especially on square, oval, flat and contoured bottles where hot-air tunnels leave wrinkles. Near-dry saturated steam is fed through adjustable SS 304 manifolds in two segments, so shrinking starts at the top and works down for a close, even fit. Built entirely in stainless steel 304 to GMP standards, with a condensate tray and vapour vent, it suits beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical and personal care lines at conveyor speeds up to 35 m/min. It runs on steam from a boiler.
